Why I’m Taking Part
I’ve signed up for Dry July — which, for someone whose social calendar revolves around birthdays, dinners, catch-ups and “just one wine”, feels like a bold life choice.
I’m doing it to raise money for people affected by cancer and to support the incredible services that help patients and their families during some of the toughest times of their lives.
I’m also keen to prove to myself that I can go a whole month without alcohol (thoughts and prayers appreciated).
If you’d like to support the cause, I’d love any donation, big or small. Every dollar goes towards helping people affected by cancer, and every donation will help motivate me when everyone else is ordering margaritas.
