This Dry July, I am taking part in memory of my nephew Adam.
As I reflect on the kind of person Adam was, supporting a cause that helps others feels like one of the most meaningful ways to honour him. He was someone who genuinely cared for people, always offering his time and kindness without expecting anything in return. Last year before he passed away following his struggles with mental health, Adam participated in Dry July. Watching his dedication and strength during this time is something I am so proud of him for. Raising funds for a cause that makes a positive difference in people’s lives feels like a fitting tribute to the generous spirit or the ‘Adamness’ he carried every day.
Although Adam is no longer with us, the impact he made continues through the memories we share and the kindness we extend to others in his honour. His legacy is reflected in the countless lives he touched and the compassion he embodied so effortlessly
This Dry July, I'm proud to celebrate Adam's life by supporting a cause that reflects everything he stood for. It's a small way to keep his memory alive and continue the positive difference he made in the world.
