Dry July funds have enabled The Kinghorn Cancer Wellness Centre to provide the following services for their cancer patients:
• Gift of Wellness Hardship Program (free massage, acupuncture, and exercise physiology)
• Patient Transport Vouchers (allows patients to access treatment appointments)
• Wellness Centre Gym Program (to fund new equipment and exercise physiology classes)
• Group Wellbeing Programs (yoga, art therapy, and meditation/mindfulness programs)

Your fundraising for Dry July has enabled The Royal Melbourne Hospital to purchase items for:
• Breezy Relax Wheelchair – this will enable lower level brain and spinal cord tumour patients to leave the ward with their families
• Ipads / Bluetooth speaker – to assist patients with primary brain tumours to stay connected to their family and friends via social media, email and video calls
• Wig Library – providing dignity for women undergoing chemotherapy with associated hair loss
• Breast reconstruction photo album – helping women requiting a mastectomy with decision making
• Head & Neck patient care room – providing a room where head & neck, gastro and hepatobiliary patients can tube feed in privacy

Dry July 2020 campaign supports patient wellbeing at Solaris Cancer Care Centre
Dry July funds have enabled Solaris Cancer Care to provide joint online and in-person professional counselling, support groups and community programs beyond their metropolitan centres. They have also extended their community programs and mental health services to the Pilbara, Broome, and Great Southern regions.
Your support has helped Solaris continue their current community programs such as their Drumming Circle and Guest Speaker events in-person, whilst also recording them live for people with cancer outside Perth. The continuation of these programs has allowed Solaris to reach out to a broader group of cancer patients, observing a rise in male participation from their purchase of more African djembe drums for our Drumming Circle. High-speed Wi-Fi installation at the Princess Alexandra Hospital thanks to Dry July fundraising
Dry July funds have enabled the PA Research Foundation to install free high-speed Wi-Fi for cancer patients facing lengthy hospital stays.
Hospital stays during cancer treatment can be an isolating experience, particularly during a year like 2020. Being able to access free Wi-Fi from hospital beds will help reduce the emotional distance between patients and their vital support network, as well as providing a crucial distraction from the circumstances that brought them to the hospital ward.

Despite the immense challenges of 2020, it has been an incredible year for Dry July fundraising – the efforts of participants such as you will enable Ovarian Cancer Australia to directly support women with ovarian cancer and their families with these initiatives:
• The Younger Women’s Network: providing support and information sessions for younger women who can connect with others in a similar situation, reducing feelings of isolation when they need it most.

The Mater Brisbane's guided exercise programs continues thanks to Dry July
Your incredible support is giving patients at Mater access to specially designed programs aimed at engaging and supporting them through guided exercise during and after their cancer diagnosis and treatment. Exercise can be effective in reducing physical deterioration, levels of fatigue, and can improve the quality of life of people with cancer.
These programs however go so much further than providing patients with exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle advice. They incorporate a holistic approach to address the issues and concerns faced by people having cancer treatment.
Liverpool Hospital's Cancer Services continue Integrated Oncology Support Programs thanks to Dry July
An astounding $30,488 has been raised for Cancer Services at The ACRF OASIS Centre.
Complementary integrative therapies play an integral part in the patient’s treatment plan. Integrated oncology programs provide supportive therapies for patients who are on treatment, or who have just completed treatment. Such programs as oncology massage, acupuncture, and yoga can help patients through their treatment regime by alleviating side effects and improving outcomes.
