Mankinis for Dry July!

Earlier this month, Michael Pryce, Peter Durrington, and friends undertook a serious challenge in support of Dry July - a sober pub crawl! The group visited drinking holes in the Liverpool and Camden areas south of Sydney to raise funds for Liverpool Cancer Therapy Centre.

To draw attention and entice patrons to support the cause the men donned ‘mankinis’, sarongs and Dry July caps. Along the route they auctioned a lap dance for $405 and one of the guys even waxed his back in return for a $450 donation!

Dry July is a cause close to their hearts; Peter’s best mate sadly passed away from cancer after receiving treatment at LCTC. Peter is a Dry July lifetime highest fundraiser (second only to Adam Spencer), having raised over $100k for Dry July, supporting LCTC.

Michael, Peter and friends have raised over $6,000 so far and are aiming for $7,000 in total.
