This year I'm doing Dry July raising money for Bowel Cancer Australia.

This cause is close to our heart as Carla was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer in August last year. It's been a rough 10 months, but she is successfully responding to treatment.

Carla has been alcohol free for over 7 years now and lives a very healthy lifestyle. Unfortunately, bowel cancer doesn't always discriminate and is the biggest cancer killer for under 45's. Bowel Cancer Australia is helping young Australian's navigate treatment and lobbying for better diagnosis pathways, early detection and prevention. A worthy cause!

I'm also looking forward to the health boost from being alcohol free.
