Why I’m Taking Part
The Wellness Centre is an essential service and a comforting environment that cancer patients in the Grampians region have relied on for the past 15 years. It is community funded and the centre would not run without their support. I choose to Dry July because it hits two birds with one stone. It gives back into non-government funded community services and gets the conversation moving about social impacts and reliance on alcohol.
