Why I’m Taking Part
This July, I’m giving up alcohol for Dry July to support my beautiful sister Shardae following her diagnosis on Christmas eve (the day before this picture was taken) of Triple Negative Breast Cancer.
While giving up a drink for a month feels like a small sacrifice, it’s nothing compared to what she is going through - losing her hair, lack of energy and appetite, being unable to work, endless medical appointments and impending surgery. Through it all, she continues to show incredible strength.
All funds raised through Dry July go directly toward cancer support services, helping people like Shardae through treatment and recovery, while showing her that she has an entire community behind her fight. Every donation big or small is a worthy contribution!
