As many of you know, this time last year my darling husband, John Lee was diagnosed with cancer. Since then, he has endured a long and challenging treatment journey, and while there is still some way to go, we remain hopeful.

Fast forward to May 2026, and life threw us another curveball when I was diagnosed with oral cancer. On 30 May, I underwent major surgery at the Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, where I am still recovering. It has been a significant operation and the road ahead will take time, patience, and determination.
