Why I’m Taking Part

I’ve signed up for Dry July, which means I’m going alcohol-free this month. But this challenge is about so much more than giving up a drink it’s about raising funds for cancer support services to help Australians affected by cancer.

Sadly, in 2019, our lives changed forever when we lost my beautiful big sister and only sibling to this devastating disease. It’s a loss that never really leaves you, and a reminder that life isn’t always fair.

If I can raise even a small amount to help fund support services and contribute towards finding a cure, then it means fewer families might have to go through what we did.

There’s nothing more sobering than the reality of cancer, so I’d truly appreciate your support whether that’s a donation or simply cheering me on.
