I was 38.
Not 50+, not classified as perimenopause.
Yet after 4 months of investigation and thousands of dollars I was diagnosed with Endometrioid Adenocarcinoma on September 4th 2025.
June was Endometrial Cancer awareness month, I wasn’t quite sure how to continue to remind my family and friends just how important knowledge is of these reproductive organ cancers, without continuing to ‘bang on’ about it.
But the truth is… they predict Uterine cancer diagnoses alone will rise 60% over the next 10 years. A cancer that is often hormonal, I hear so much about perimenopause, this cancer was more prominent in women over 50, because of menopause. The fact is, we are seeing perimenopause in women as young as 30, this is exactly why the projection shows such an increase.
