Hi Team,
Well done to the Team on another dry week! As well as the health benefits to each of us, we are raising some serious coin. Prostate cancer is the most prevalent of all forms of cancer in Australia today - 50% higher rates than breast cancer. Yet little Government money finds its way into research into the prevention and cure of this affliction - which affects as many as 1 in 4 men at some stage of their life.
So- in this final week of this year's challenge, I'm suggesting that you reach out to your friends and workmates and ask for a donation towards such a good cause. Everybody knows someone who has been affected by prostate cancer. Good Hunting - let's make sure we surpass our goal of $2500 raised.
Cheers ( on 1/8)
Peter

Hi Team - I hope you are feeling good about yourself- it's quite an achievement- 3 weeks dry. Perhaps you can tap your friends for a donation this week- perhaps you can donate a portion of the money that you have saved so far this month. Keep up the good work

Well Done Team - we reached our target of $2500. Thank you for supporting me and each other. I hope you felt both the health benefits and a sense of achievement. As you know the fight against Prostate Cancer is very personal for me - I consider my self lucky with early detection and effective treatment. For the males - get tested regularly- for the female make sure your man gets tested. Sometimes in the future I hope research will find a method of prevention- much better than cure.
