This year I’ve signed up for the Dry July Challenge, choosing Bendigo Health as my charity. A recent health scare shook me more than I expected and made me realise how quickly things can change. Thankfully everything is now under control, and I’m determined to make sure I stay that way.
I have already completed my personal, mostly Dry May and Dry June as part of getting my health back on track, and that has given me the confidence that I can keep going and achieve my Dry July goal.
For me, Dry July is about taking control, one choice at a time. It’s my commitment to myself: stepping away from alcohol, improving my health, and doing what I need to do to stay well.
Supporting Bendigo Health feels personal — I’ve been a patient there a few times since moving to Heathcote and we consider it our local hospital.
If you’d like to support Bendigo Health through my Dry July challenge, I’d be ever so grateful and truly appreciate your support. Click on the link dryjuly.com/users/deb-williams-2
A donation of the cost of a cup of coffee or a glass of wine will make a difference and remember that any donation over $2 is tax-deductible!
Look after yourself Deb. Great cause! Much love.
