This year marks my fourth Dry July, and I'm taking part because of my mum Charmaine Goodwin, who is courageously battling Stage 4 ovarian cancer for the past three years and is still battling now.
Watching someone you love go through cancer treatment is incredibly difficult and it has shown me just how important quality care and support services are for patients and their families.
By giving up alcohol this July, I'm raising funds for the Nepean Cancer Care Centre in Penrith, which helps provide vital services, equipment, and support to people facing cancer in our local community.
Every donation, big or small, will help make a difference to the lives of cancer patients and their families. Thank you for supporting me, supporting my mum, and supporting everyone fighting this battle.
Together, we can help bring comfort, care, and hope to those who need it most.
