Why I’m Taking Part

This is my 8th year in taking part in Dry July & in that time I have raised $70,202 with the help, support and generosity of you all

Why I’m doing dry July
Taking a 31 day break from alcohol gives my body a break which it needs!
Being the publican of The Acorn Bar & Restaurant I am surrounded by friends & a party atmosphere which I love and loads of alcohol.

Dry July is a tough month for me personally and mentally being a big drinker.

Raising funds for Cancer patients and I can also improve my own health.

Funds raised through Dry July Foundation provides invaluable services to cancer patients and their families.

If you could spare a couple of bucks it would be truly appreciated.

Well, what a rollercoaster day it has been today . If any day I wanted to have a drink it was definitely today. But that’s not happening. I am totally blown away with the amazing support. I also weigh. 127 let’s see what I can get down to . Healthy choices . I feel like I have a mass hangover but That’s part of the change.
