Why I’m Taking Part
I’ve signed up for Dry July this year - which means no alcohol for the month.
For someone who spends most of their time talking about agriculture, risk management and long-term discipline, you’d think this would be easy… we’ll see.
But seriously, it’s not just about giving up a drink - it’s about raising money for cancer support services that help Australians when they need it most.
So here’s the deal - if you’d normally shout me a beer, a wine, or something “top shelf”… just flick that money through as a donation instead. Cancer will get a much better return on investment than I will.
If you can chip in, I’d genuinely appreciate it. Every dollar helps.
Wish me luck - I suspect I’ll need it by about Day 5. And thanks in advance for your support.

We have not met in person Andrew, but I would like to congratulate you on undertaking this and hopefully this small amount of support makes some difference.
Everyone is close to a cancer story, my father passed a few years ago due to kidney cancer which was very aggressive.
I also love the insight into the personal impact that the lifestyle change is having on you and your family, well done.!
