A friends son passed away at only age 40 from alcoholism, he hit the bottle hard ( Vodka ) as his marriage fell apart, he never got to see his 2 children ( his ex made sure of that) he lost the house he made into a beautiful home, he lost his business. As times got tougher he drank even more, nothing we could do to help save him, he passed away 2 weeks after his 40th birthday, his Dad, Nan, Mum and myself were with him as he took his final breath.
