Going Dry For Des

This July, our team is giving up alcohol in honour and memory of Destiny Lewis, who was taken from us on 20th June 2025.

We’re taking on this challenge to honour her memory, raise awareness, carry on her legacy, and support people and families facing some of life’s toughest battles. While raising money is an important part of Dry July, our biggest motivation is keeping Des at the forefront of our minds as we challenge ourselves to a month without alcohol.

Des’s battle touched so many lives. Although she’s no longer with us, her memory continues to bring people together.

Every day without a drink is a reminder of why we’re doing this—to honour Des, support those currently fighting brain cancer, and help improve outcomes for families facing similar journeys.
