Thanks to the incredible fundraising efforts of our Dry July participants every year, the Dry July Foundation is able to help local and national cancer support organisations across Australia deliver practical, tangible support services for people affected by cancer.

Everything we fund is to benefit cancer patients, their families and carers, aiming to make a difficult time, a little easier for people affected by cancer.

A shoulder to lean on. A comforting voice. A place to relax. This is why we Dry July.

Canteen raise $184k thanks to our incredible 2022 Dry Julyers!

As a supporter of Canteen, we are delighted to announce that with your help we raised an astounding $184,472, and have also received additional funding from our grants round!

These funds have helped Canteen continue to help young cancer patients stay connected to study or work, both during and after their cancer treatment through Canteen’s Education and Career Support Service (ECS).

Young people can use the service at the point ofdiagnosis, during treatment as well as after treatment as they transition back into work or study.How amazing is that!

Bowel Cancer Australia raised $384,398 thanks to your Dry July fundraising!

You’ve helped fund the continuation of Bowel Cancer Australia’s Bowel Care Oncology Social Worker service, Online Survivorship Community and Resource Hub (Bowel Care Nurse Moderated Facebook Group) and two additional integrated Bowel Care Nurses.

Bowel Cancer Australia’s integrated Bowel Care Nursing program supports the employment of dedicated part-time Bowel Care Nurses in regional communities across the country. Acting as a key point of contact for bowel cancer patients and their families as they navigate the health system in their local area – providing advice, education, support and direct patient care.

We are delighted to announce that with your help Chris O’Brien Lifehouse raised an astounding $128,767!

By taking part in Dry July, you’ve helped fund furniture for the waiting room of our new Level 7 ward; extended our complementary in-patient therapies and our Lymphoedema Program.

Being able to offer reflexology or massage therapy to our patients as they recover in their rooms makes such a difference to their well-being. Our recently opened new ward on Level 7 will now also have much needed new furniture for the waiting room allowing family and carers to be close by while their family member is treated.

Thanks to your Dry July Fundraising, Central Coast Local Health District CoastCanCare Wellness Program raised an astounding $25,880!

You’ve helped us to continue offering free wellbeing and recovery programs for cancer patients, their families and carers.

These programs provide psychological, physical and social support. Examples of programs being delivered include meditation, art therapy, weaving, journaling, yoga, tai chi, “Living Well” workshops and physiotherapy classes.

CoastCanCare also acts as a touch point for people in the community requiring assistance with accessing appropriate resources and supports to enable them to recover and thrive following treatment.

Your Dry July fundraising is helping patients and their carers access treatment at the North West Cancer Centre

We are beyond grateful for your fundraising efforts and are delighted to announce that with your help North West Cancer Centre Tamworth raised an astounding $10,853!

By taking part in Dry July, you’ve helped fund accommodation for patients and their carers accessing treatment at the North West Cancer Centre.

Your fundraising has helped ensure all patients having treatment at the North West Cancer Centre can access accommodation without any out of pocket costs. Extra expenses like this are often a barrier to rural people accessing lifesaving cancer treatments.

When Inala House is fully booked, the centre sources and pays for other accommodation facilities on behalf of the patients so that they are not disadvantaged due to financial reasons....

Thanks to your fundraising, you’ve helped support the world class Ballarat Regional Integrated Cancer Centre provide cancer care, treatment and research across the Grampians Region!

Funds raised through Dry July will ensure the ongoing provision of support and services offered by our Wellness Centre. Your efforts have also helped us secure a grant which will go towards the purchase an ultrasound vascular access device.
