Sign up to Dry July and raise funds for Central Coast – CoastCanCare

CoastCanCare is a unique service which focuses on supporting individuals with cancer. The goal of the program is helping individuals live well with, and after, cancer. The program provides direct contact and support to participants with evidence-based therapies and programs, linking them with local services and supports and providing practical support to patients, carers and family members.

"CoastCanCare provides vital programs which help people connect and provide each other with encouragement. It makes you want to keep living and beat the odds" - Wendy, CoastCanCare participant

As a “Dry Julyer” two things will happen; not only do you have the opportunity to help local cancer patients – maybe a neighbour or relative - but the flow on effect from 31 days without alcohol could well improve your own general health and wellbeing. Thank you for signing up and supporting Central Coast Local Health District – CoastCanCare and ensuring that money raised stays on the Coast to benefit the local community.

Golden Tickets

If you have a special occasion in July, you can always buy a Golden Ticket. A Golden Ticket gives a Dry July participant a night off their challenge. For a minimum $25 donation, even a night off can still make a difference to the lives of people affected by cancer.

Important Note

Dry July is a fundraising campaign aimed at challenging social drinkers to change their habits for a month and make some healthy lifestyle changes. We would encourage people to drink responsibly and stick to the recommended daily guidelines for the rest of the year. We advise heavy drinkers or people dependent on alcohol to speak with their GP before signing up to Dry July.
