Helping people rebuild strength after cancer treatment at The Prince of Wales Hospital

Together in the Dry July 2026 campaign, you helped The Prince of Wales Hospital raise an incredible $7,926, which will provide specialist nutrition support to people recovering from cancer.

Through the Cancer Survivorship Centre, the funds raised will help expand access to specialist dietitian services. With personalised nutrition advice and guidance, cancer survivors will receive support to manage treatment side effects, regain strength and make informed dietary choices as they navigate life beyond treatment.

"You went a month without a drink, and because of you, someone recovering from cancer will have specialist dietitian care when they need it most.

While cancer treatment may end, many survivors continue to face nutrition-related challenges that can affect their recovery, strength and quality of life. Thanks to your generosity, more people will have access to specialist dietitian care tailored to their individual needs, helping them regain strength, improve their wellbeing and navigate life beyond cancer.

This is what raising funds to raise care looks like, in action, and it’s how we transform lives together. On behalf of everyone at the Prince of Wales Hospital Foundation, thank you for making a lasting difference to the lives of cancer survivors and their families."
