Expanding trusted melanoma education through Melanoma Patients Australia

In the 2026 Dry July campaign, Melanoma Patients Australia raised a fantastic $38,693 thanks to the support of Dry July participants. This will help provide trusted education and support to people affected by melanoma across Australia.

The National Melanoma Patient Education Program will be supported through the funds raised, providing free and accessible information from diagnosis through treatment, survivorship and end-of-life care. Developed alongside healthcare professionals and people with lived experience, these resources will help patients and families make informed decisions and navigate their care with greater confidence.

"Every day, Melanoma Patients Australia hears from people who are searching for clear, trusted information after a melanoma diagnosis.

Dry July funding will help us develop and expand vital education resources that empower patients, families and carers to better understand melanoma, navigate treatment decisions and feel more confident throughout their experience. Access to reliable information can reduce uncertainty, ease anxiety and help people feel less alone during some of the most challenging moments of their lives.

We are incredibly grateful to every Dry July participant and supporter whose generosity is helping us provide hope, knowledge and support when it is needed most."
