Over a few days in July, a bunch of Basketballers, Sportspeople & Businesses will be doing their bit for a great cause – Barwon Health’s Andrew Love Cancer Centre, joining in a Basketball fundraising event at Hoop City Geelong. Participating, will be a number of Basketballers from NBL, Geelong United NBL1, local businesses, leagues & some other Sportspeople, to help raise money for this great cause.

Each member will be shooting 500 three pointers, with a bunch of local sponsors donating money for every shot that their nominated player makes.

The funds raised as part of Dry July will provide invaluable services for cancer patients, their families and carers – whether it’s transport to a life-saving appointment, guidance from a specialist nurse, connection to an informative voice, access to therapy programs, or a bed close to treatment.
