I’ve decided to take on Dry July this year because bowel cancer has become something very real for my family. Seeing what loved ones go through and the impact it has on everyone around them has made me want to do something to help.

Going without alcohol for a month is a small sacrifice compared to what so many people and families face every day. If taking part in Dry July can raise money for research, support services and awareness for bowel cancer, then it’s absolutely worth doing.

I’m doing this for my family, for everyone affected by bowel cancer, and to help make a difference however I can. Any support, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing my fundraiser, would mean a lot.
