Cancer has impacted generations of my family and our community. After my own cervical cancer diagnosis in 2015, I made a promise to use my voice to create change. This Dry July, my sister Krissy and I are fundraising to support people affected by cancer and to advocate for better outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. We honour our loved ones, support those still fighting, and work towards a future where fewer families have to experience this pain. We learn from yesterday so we can build a healthier tomorrow.
