Each year more than 12,400 Australians are diagnosed with upper gastrointestinal (GI) cancers.
The Pancare Foundation is Australia’s only national not-for-profit organisation dedicated to supporting patients with upper gastrointestinal (GI) cancers – pancreatic, liver, stomach, biliary and oesophageal cancers.
Through our dedicated patient support program, PanSupport, we support patients and their families from the point of diagnosis, through to treatment and beyond with multiple services:
- telehealth support - specialist upper GI cancer nurses
- counselling support
- cancer information and resources
- support groups
- financial assistance

Important Note
Dry July is a fundraising campaign aimed at challenging social drinkers to change their habits for a month and make some healthy lifestyle changes. We would encourage people to drink responsibly and stick to the recommended daily guidelines for the rest of the year. We advise heavy drinkers or people dependent on alcohol to speak with their GP before signing up to Dry July.
