Thank you for helping to make a difference to the lives of people receiving their treatment in the St. Vincent’s Cancer Centre. We acknowledge that this can be a very difficult and daunting time for patients. These challenges affect not only those with cancer but their family and friends too. With funds raised from previous years’ Dry In July campaigns we have been able to introduce extras that have helped make the Cancer Centre more welcoming, supportive and comforting. Funds raised in past campaigns have meant that while receiving their cancer treatment, patients are now able to relax in a massage chair and listen to their favourite music. All visitors are welcomed the view of fresh flowers and the greenery of an internal garden. We are excited to be the beneficiaries of another Dry in July campaign so that we can continue to add improvements to our centre that will help ease the burden of receiving treatment for cancer.
