Arrow Bone Marrow Transplant Foundation

Arrow exists to improve the quality of life for all people needing a bone marrow transplant. With nearly 20,000 Australians diagnosed with blood cancers such as leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma every year and many more diagnosed with serious blood disorders, there is a large need for Arrow’s help.

In fact, every 27 minutes in Australia someone will be diagnosed with a blood cancer and over 2,000 Australians will receive a life-saving bone marrow transplant to cure their disease. It is Arrow’s aim to support every single person receiving a bone marrow transplant in Australia.

Through the Dry July campaign, we are raising funds for Arrow’s Patient Support Program. Our program provides support for bone marrow and stem cell transplant patients and their families. The aim of the program is to empower our patients with information, support their mental health and provide financial assistance for essential groceries, utility bills and additional travel and accommodation expenses incurred during treatment. Our support enables patients and their families to focus on what is most important – their health, treatment and recovery.
