Why Iβm Taking Part
I am going dry this July to raise critical funds for more services for those affected by ovarian cancer. In 2020 I was diagnosed with Stage 3C high grade serous ovarian cancer which had spread extensively & I needed chemotherapy for 7 months & extensive pelvic & abdominal surgery. I am fortunately well currently but I have an 80% chance of it coming back as there is no treatment available to me. If you are able to donate it would be greatly appreciated & your donation can help change the outcome for women like me by providing much needed services such as the Teal Support Nurse Program funded by Ovarian Cancer Australia. No donation is too small, or you may wish to donate the cost of a beer, wine or margarita! Or a cup of coffee :)
