Last year, my daughter Kate was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma. It completely turned her world upside down — forcing her to pause her university studies and stop working altogether.

The treatment was incredibly tough. Chemotherapy took a massive toll, and as her immune system was weakened, her sister and I did everything we could to keep her safe — turning our home into a protective bubble between sessions.

Hodgkin Lymphoma has a high risk of returning, which makes continued support and research absolutely vital.

That’s why this Dry July, I’m going alcohol-free to raise funds for Lymphoma Australia — the only organisation in the country dedicated solely to supporting people living with lymphoma. They provide specialist nurse support, education, advocacy, and fund vital research to help improve outcomes for patients like Kate.
