The Royal Melbourne Hospital

Why I’m Taking Part

Mum recently spent 18 days at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, bravely battling tongue cancer. Each day we visited, she would write on her whiteboard that the nursing staff were just amazing and one day she wrote they were her 'Angels who kept me alive'. To honor their incredible care and support, I am participating in Dry July to raise funds for the hospital. I don't drink alcohol often, so I've decided to challenge myself by going dry on chocolate, something mum is really missing at the moment. Just to up the challenge even further, I've been asked to give up sugar too, so 'Challenge Accepted!'. Please join me in supporting these amazing healthcare heroes.
