Why I’m Taking Part
As some of you know, my beloved dad battled diffuse large b-cell lymphoma a couple of years ago and had to undergo chemotherapy and radiation at Nepean Cancer Care Centre. The care and treatment he received was literally life-saving, and he is now cancer-free!
This month, I'm giving back in a very small way, by going alcohol-free for the month of July to raise money directly for Nepean Cancer Care Centre. The money raised will go towards making the treatment centre as comfortable as possible for patients undergoing chemo and radiation therapy.
I know money is tight for a lot of people, so I totally understand that not everyone is in a position to donate, but if you do have some spare change and feel so inclined, I'd appreciate any donations. They'll also be tax-deductible next tax-time, wahoo! Lots of love x
