Raising Money For
Hi friends. I'm doing Dry July in the memory of family and friends that have been lost family and friends that are battling this disease. I've currently been diagnosed with a large tumor attached to my brain between my eye and ear on the left side and it will be coming out on May the 29th at Melbourne Private. The Neurosurgeons hope it's Benign, but they're unsure until it hits the lab table. It's a large tumour 44 mm long a 22 mm wide by 24 mm high it's a long operation with many risks because of its location. Its also has arteries and veins running through and is using vessels of the brain. It's on the left side and I believe not all can be removed as some will be too risky and may cause me permanent damage so I'll be looking at some radiation therapy afterwards to try and get rid of the small amount they leave behind. So it's been a big surprise but was discovered after a very hard face fall into a rock out the back while I was feeding my farm animals, and I had some tests done so I guess it's a blessing in disguise that i found out now!! So this year I'm doing dry July because I'm sick and it can happen to anyone and all the money that goes to the non for profit organisations to help people staying there to be more comfortable and have more services and some goes to research as well. So I guess over all the years I've done Dry July this year 4, this one means a bit more this time. So if you have a few spare dollars and you can donate it would mean a lot to me and my charity. To all my family and friends I'm in good spirits thinking positive thoughts hoping it all works out!!🤞🙏everyone out there take care lots of love Damo.🙂👍xox Love you Mum and Dad xox
