Cancer puts a big question mark on a young person’s future. Study, work, friendships, health - everything is impacted. Redkite is there for every young person with cancer, with the tools they need to live their best possible life.
By signing up to go Dry this July and raising funds for Redkite, you’re ensuring young people with cancer are supported and know big things are still possible.
Redkite is a national charity which aims to give young people with cancer the tools they need to live their best possible life.
Your Dry July fundraising will give young people with cancer:
Someone to talk to who really understands
Redkite’s caring, professional support team gives counselling to help young people adjust to cancer. They can give guidance on navigating hospitals and treatment and can connect young people to trusted information that they may need to grapple with big issues such as body image, infertility and their future after cancer.
Help to set goals and chase dreams
Redkite’s team works with young people to help them identify their goals and build strategies to reach them. They also help young people develop important life skills and advocate to give them every opportunity to reach their dreams, because they understand the ongoing health and psychological impacts cancer can have.

Important Note
Dry July is a fundraising campaign aimed at challenging social drinkers to change their habits for a month and make some healthy lifestyle changes. We would encourage people to drink responsibly and stick to the recommended daily guidelines for the rest of the year. We advise heavy drinkers or people dependent on alcohol to speak with their GP before signing up to Dry July.
