Here’s how it came into existence. ARIA Award winning Australian music producer and master beer drinker Matt Lovell was at his local indulging his real passions – friends, independent local music and BEER. As always the music and company were great but the mass manufactured liquid, disguised as beer in his glass, tasted like rubbish. Matt thought to himself “If I can’t get a clean, fresh beer without all the rubbish, I’ll have to make it myself.”

Unlike other random thoughts he’d had in the past, Matt decided to do something about this one. So in true DIY spirit, he set out to create a beer that reflects everything people love about passionately crafted music; independence, quality and taste - without all the rubbish. It’s from this labour of love that LOVELLS PURE LAGER exists today.
