Sydney's favourite afternoon announcer on 2day FM is the one and only Ellie Mobbs who gets listeners through their weekdays.
This young lady grew up in Canberra and knew the drive to Sydney like the back of her hand. Her love for radio started when she was in highschool and she went on to study radio at Swinburne Uni in Melbourne.
After this she did what any aspiring radio talent would do - went back to Canberra and gave away cans of Coke out the back of a Black Thunder for 104.7 FM.
Ellie did breakfast radio at Snow FM for two years then moved to Perth to take over mornings on 92.9 where she stayed for a further two years until making the shift to 2day in Sydney.
Ellie's Thoughts
"Working at 2day FM has been my goal since starting out in radio. Aside from that I am a gym NUT! I go every morning before work, I love all sport and I've played hockey, rugby, cricket and softball. I love all footy codes, snowboarding, rollerblading and anything active! I love animals. I also love music which is a good thing since I'm on Sydney's number one hit station - personally I can play a few instruments like oboe, flute and guitar. I love movies and anything pop culture related.
