ALEYSHA KNOWLES

Aleysha Knowles began her media career as a television sports journalist in New Zealand, covering rugby, basketball, and motorsport. She then went on to work for New Zealand's leading radio station Newstalk ZB.

After moving to Perth in late 2006 she joined the team at talkback station 6PR as the afternoon newsreader.

In April 2008 Aleysha moved onto music radio with 96fm's breafast show, "The Crew, with Gary, Fitzi and Aleysha. Still reading the news, but helping to keep the boys in line, while bringing a girly approach with all the showbiz and A-list gossip.

A fan of sport, wining and dining, and spending time with her dog Doug the Pug, Aleysha is swapping wine for chocolate for the next month!
